At 5:30 PM Tulku Tsori Rinpoche will speak about how to incorporate Compassion and Wisdom in our fast-paced modern western culture. These ancient traditional teachings have been scientifically proven to help people cultivate a peaceful mind and enhance overall health and well-being.

Rinpoche is overseeing several charitable missions including a children's monastery in central India, raising orphaned Tibetan refugee children and has established programs providing medical assistance to extremely destitute Tibetans living in exile, including orphans, care of the elderly and impoverished Tibetan families. • Karma Sonam Gyurme (Tsori Rinpoche) was born in Nepal in 1974. At the age of three he was recognized as a "Tulku", one who returns countless lifetimes to offer the Buddha's teachings.

• At the age of seven, he entered the Namdroling Monastery in Bylakuppe, India- the seat of His Holiness Pema Norbu (Penor) Rinpoche, Supreme head of the Nyingma School.

• As a boy of 11, while lost at a train station in Southern India, was kidnapped and sold into slavery. A year later, he was traded as an indentured house servant to another family in exchange for a German Sheppard puppy.

• At age 18, was reunited with his family and returned to monastic life.

• In 2004, completed the construction of the Gyalton Karnying Dubde Ling Temple in Pharpin, Nepal. The Temple currently serves as a spiritual retreat and cares after several elderly residents.

• In 2005, began construction of a new Monastery in Mainpat Tibetan Refugee Settlement in India with a vision to house and educate up to 700 children simultaneously. The Monastery currently has 58 children in its care and strives to improve the living      conditions of the entire refugee population in the area.

• In 2008, founded YTDR Foundation, a U.S. based non-profit.

• Tulku Tsori Rinpoche travels the world offering teachings, workshops, ceremonies, and private consultation. Audiences are drawn to Tsori Rinpoche's public appearances and teachings for his transformational and enligthening effect. He brings a very positive  and hopeful spiritual message for these turbulent times.

Namdroling Tibetan Buddhist Center 

Namdroling Tibetan Buddhist Center in Bozeman, Montana is dedicated to the Palyul tradition of Vajrayana Nyingma Tibetan Buddhism. Namdroling's guiding principle is that of Bodhicitta , or loving kindness and concern for others, as we realize that self-liberation is gained by bringing benefit to all living beings. Our aspiration is to nurture and strengthen our community by studying, practicing, and living the Dharma, and helping the greater community through acts of service and by sharing the Dharma with all who are interested.


Namdroling is open to all with an interest in Buddhism. The Center offers practices on most Sundays and the major auspicious days in the Tibetan Calendar.

The Way of the Bodhisattva

Prayer Requests

If you would like to ask for prayers for a loved one, please click here. Be sure to include the name of the person or being you are requesting prayers for and why. It is common practice to make an offering of any amount when requesting prayers. This can be done by clicking on any of the "donate" now links. Be sure to mention that this is a donation for a prayer request in the comment field.

There are many blessings in requesting prayers and in making offerings for your beloved partner, parent, animal, etc. We will read a list for deceased and living loved ones before each of our practices. It is also possible to sponsor a butter lamp in honor of a loved one. Please click on the sponsor a butter lamp link at the bottom of this page to do this.
